This guide takes you from a new account to a working agent on your own website. You do not need to write code. Your 7-day trial starts at signup — no card, no plan to pick. A URL pasted on the homepage is carried through signup. /try lets visitors paste a URL and talk to a watermarked draft before claiming it at signup.
Before you begin#
You need an account and a public website URL the agent should represent. Keep the first version narrow — one product or one job is easier to evaluate than an agent expected to answer every question about a company.
1. Paste the website URL#
On the Make Agent Fast homepage, paste the URL and continue. After signup or login the same URL is carried through: you are not asked to paste it again. There is no page builder on this path.
No website yet? The first screen also accepts a few written answers, or a sample to see how it works. If you already have an account, pasting a URL still starts a new unpublished draft from that site.
2. Wait while we build the draft#
The generating screen reports the real work:
- Reading the site
- Building the agent
- Testing answers
This usually takes a few seconds, and up to about a minute for a larger site. While it runs, Found so far lists what we read — business name, contact details, hours, address, pages. If hours or the address are missing you can type them right there. Nothing is published yet.
3. Meet your agent#
You land on Meet your agent: the real chat beside three quick checks — something it knows, something it must not invent, and a request for a person. Press Ask this, read the answer, and accept it or fix it. A fixed answer becomes knowledge the agent uses from then on. Text rehearsal uses credits. Contact requests and actions are simulated: nothing is sent, booked or counted as a customer. Voice and ticket workflows are available after rehearsal. If you change the knowledge or what the agent does, repeat the affected checks.
Then pick what it should mainly do and where your customers reach you. Messaging channels are on Operate; a Launch trial can move to Operate once with the same end date.
4. Put it where your customers are#
Tell us who adds it to your website, save the page address where it will run, switch it on, and add the one-line code (or send it to your developer, or ask for assisted setup). Then press Check my site — we look for valid install code on your page and check that the site is allowed. Then open your site and ask the widget a question. Manual confirmation is labelled separately; a failed recheck asks you to check again. Copying the code is not the finish line; the check is. New agents do not get a hosted marketing page.
5. Activate with a real visitor#
Activation is the first visitor conversation or the first captured lead — not an owner test. The Agent page keeps a launch receipt and a short getting-started list until that happens. See Create an agent for the full loop.
