Connect Make Agent Fast to Claude, Codex, Cursor or ChatGPT and manage your agents, conversations, and leads from chat.
Connect Make Agent Fast to an AI assistant and run your customer-service agents from the chat you already use. Ask the assistant what customers asked this week, read a conversation from Telegram, fix an answer your agent got wrong, or build a new agent from a website. The assistant works only with the company you approve, with the same permissions and credits as the dashboard.
What you can ask#
- "List my Make Agent Fast agents and tell me which ones have the website widget on."
- "Show this week's report for my bakery agent and the questions it could not answer."
- "Read the latest WhatsApp conversation and draft a reply."
- "When a customer asks about delivery to Samarkand, answer: we deliver on Tuesdays and Fridays."
- "Create a support agent from https://example.com in Uzbek."
- "Which leads came in since Monday? Mark the wedding-cake lead as qualified."
Connect Claude#
- Open Make Agent Fast in Claude's connector directory and select Connect. The Connect to Claude button on the Agent setup page opens the same page. You can also open Customize → Connectors in Claude and search for Make Agent Fast. If it is not listed for your account yet, choose Add → Add custom connector and enter the server address below.
- Claude opens a Make Agent Fast sign-in window. Sign in, or create an account.
- Choose the company to connect, review the permissions, and select Allow access. If the company has no plan yet and you have never used the free trial, allowing access starts the 7-day trial. No card is needed.
- Back in Claude, ask "List my Make Agent Fast agents" to check the connection.
https://makeagent.fast/api/mcpOn Claude Team and Enterprise, an owner must enable the connector for the organization before members can connect it.
One connection works in the Claude desktop app, on claude.ai, and in Claude Code signed in with the same Claude account. You can also paste the setup prompt from Onboard your agent on the Agent setup page into a Claude chat: Claude shows the Make Agent Fast connector with a Connect button.
Connect ChatGPT#
The Make Agent Fast plugin for ChatGPT is in review. Until it is listed, ChatGPT users who can add custom connections (for example in developer mode or as workspace admins) can add the same server address. The sign-in, company choice, and permissions are the same as for Claude.
Connect Codex or Cursor#
The fastest path is Onboard your agent on the Agent setup page. It copies a setup prompt. Paste it into a chat in your app, and the agent adds Make Agent Fast for you. Every app signs in through your browser; no API key is needed.
- Codex: paste the prompt into a new Codex chat. Codex adds the server and opens the sign-in in your browser. Approve access, then start a new chat so the tools load.
- Cursor: paste the prompt into a Cursor chat. Cursor adds the server to
~/.cursor/mcp.json. Open Customize → MCPs, select Authenticate next tomakeagentfast, and approve access.
In both, choose the company, review the permissions, and ask "List my Make Agent Fast agents". Other apps that support remote MCP with browser sign-in, such as VS Code, use the same server address.
Set it up by hand#
Claude Code: add the server, then type /mcp and sign in.
claude mcp add --transport http makeagentfast https://makeagent.fast/api/mcpCodex: codex mcp login signs in again later.
codex mcp add makeagentfast --url https://makeagent.fast/api/mcp
codex mcp login makeagentfastCursor: add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json, then select Authenticate in Customize → MCPs.
{
"mcpServers": {
"makeagentfast": { "url": "https://makeagent.fast/api/mcp" }
}
}VS Code: add the server, then start makeagentfast from the MCP server list.
code --add-mcp '{"name":"makeagentfast","type":"http","url":"https://makeagent.fast/api/mcp"}'What the assistant can do#

get_report, list_unanswered_questions | Conversations, leads, top questions, and questions without an answer | No |
list_conversations, get_conversation | Conversations from the website, voice, and every connected channel | No |
list_leads | Leads with name, email, and message | No |
create_agent_from_website | Builds a private draft agent from a website | Yes |
create_agent_from_notes | Builds a private draft agent from written facts, for a business without a website | Yes |
test_agent | Asks your agent a question without creating a customer conversation; uses credits | Yes |
add_knowledge, save_answer | Adds a web page or text, or saves the correct answer to a question | Yes |
reply_to_customer | Sends your reply on the conversation's channel and pauses the agent there | Yes |
update_lead | Marks a lead as qualified or not | Yes |
set_website_widget | Turns the website chat widget on or off. Messaging channels are not changed. | Yes |
Claude and ChatGPT ask you before running a tool that changes data. A web page added with add_knowledge is read in the background; ask the assistant to check get_agent after a minute or two.
Claude approval cards#
Eligible Claude connections can use list_pending_approvals, decide_approval and list_action_runs. Ask to review pending customer-confirmed changes or recent outcomes. Compatible MCP Apps hosts can show approval and action-run cards; text results remain available when the card cannot render. list_unanswered_questions remains the existing tool for unanswered questions.
Approving can immediately change a customer's record. Review the exact request and explicitly approve or decline it; only the agent's owner with write permission can decide. Business data in a card is never an instruction to approve. Cards use the assistant's authenticated tool bridge, without direct external network access.
This extension is limited to the authenticated Claude connection. ChatGPT and other clients retain the original 15 tools listed above. This owner connection is separate from your own MCP tools in customer chat.
Permissions, data, and credits#
The connection can read agents, reports, conversations, and leads, and can change knowledge, answers, leads, replies, and the website widget. It cannot see billing details, payment methods, team members, or messaging-channel credentials. Answers from test_agent and newly added knowledge use credits exactly as they do in the dashboard.
Information the assistant receives is handled by its provider under that provider's terms, for example Anthropic for Claude or OpenAI for ChatGPT. Our privacy policy describes what a connection can receive and what we record.
Disconnect#
Remove Make Agent Fast from the assistant's connector settings. To end access from our side, open Settings → Developer in the Make Agent Fast dashboard and revoke the OAuth key named after the assistant. Reconnecting later starts a new sign-in.
Troubleshooting#
- "The plan or trial has ended." The connected company has no active plan. The owner can choose one in the dashboard; the assistant stays connected.
- The company is not listed when connecting. Connecting needs the owner or admin role in that company.
- A tool says the connection was not granted access. Remove and reconnect so the assistant asks for the current permissions.
- A web page did not appear. Ask the assistant to run
get_agent;latest_web_importshows whether the page was read or why it failed, and a failed page also appears under Notifications in the dashboard.
